Get wet... Get dirty...Get involved
The Clean Sweep is an annual volunteer event focused on removing trash and restoring the health of the Great Miami River. This river cleanup is about much more than picking up trash. It’s a day for communities to demonstrate their desire for clean water and healthy rivers. It’s an opportunity to learn about our river, and it’s a time to come together with your families, your neighbors, your community, and your friends to accomplish something vital and worthy on behalf of our Great Miami River. This cleanup is coordinated by many partners and attended by hundreds of wonderful volunteers.
Southern Section - Franklin to the Ohio River, September 18, 2021. Online registration.
Northern Section - Indian Lake to Franklin, July 16 or 17, 2021 (depending upon location). The river was dangerously high in some areas and so several sections were canceled. We will post info for those that are rescheduled.
A waiver will need to be signed by all participants and those 18 years of age or younger will need a parent or guardian signature. You can sign a copy at the event, we provide this in case you are bringing minors that you are not the parent or guardian for.
All children under the age of 16 must have an adult with them. If you are bringing minors that you are not the parent or guardian of, make sure to bring a signed waiver for them.
Thank you to the many hundreds volunteers that joined us for the Clean Sweep events.
